How FUE Hair Transplant Works
At ISAAC Luxe, we develop a comprehensive treatment plan on the basis of your condition.
- There are two types of transplant procedures: slit grafts and micrografts better known as FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) Or FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation). Slit grafts contain 4 to 10 hairs per graft whereas micrografts contain 1 to 2 hair per graft. Your doctor will make the decision according to what you need.
- The procedure involves the removal of follicular hair units from an area with a higher density of hair. There will be an incision in your scalp which will be stitched up immediately after the procedure. We use local anesthesia to minimize pain and discomfort
- Once we harvest more hair follicles, they are then placed on target areas.
- This treatment requires multiple sessions. It takes 3 – 5 months for the grafted hair to grow.
- When implanted, these sections will help achieve natural-looking hair growth.
